Vocal Confluence presents their upcoming concert "Sounds of Steel: An Acapella Tribute to Pittsburgh Artists" this weekend! Artistic Director B Rauch and Assistant Director Josh Gongaware, talk about their upcoming concert that pays tribute to Pittsburgh artists through the ages. Vocal Confluence is an all-voice barbershop chorus that looks to foster a vibrant singing community that is inclusive and welcoming for all. B and Josh highlight the program for this concert, which features a medley, or 'Fredley' of Fred Roger's songs. The program also includes songs by Billy Porter, Rusted Root, Erroll Garner, and Christina Aguilera. They also talk about the group's upcoming competition at the International Barbershop Harmony Society Convention in late June. They will perform the 'Fredly' as well as a Billy Porter song. Vocal Confluence also hosts open rehearsals on the first Monday of each month! You can hear Vocal Confluence's "Sounds of Steel" concert on May 17th at 7:30 pm.
