It's an adaptation combining three Sherlock Holmes short stories and perfect for an evening of fun! Saltworks Theatre presents Sherlock Holmes and the Mysterious Case of the Blue Carbuncle. Actors, producers, and playwrights, Trevor Buda, Lauren Scheller-Wolf, and Lexie Hellinger, talk about the upcoming production. Comedic, engaging, and geared towards younger audiences, this adaptation of The Man with the Twisted Lip, The Red-Headed League, and The Blue Carbuncle, is something not to miss! After last year's success with a longer play, Saltworks Theatre decided to do it again! Trevor, Lauren, and Lexie talk about how they first came up with the idea to adapt Sherlock Holmes stories. They also talk about incorporating shadow puppets at the end of the play. Trevor will play Inspector Lestrade, among other characters, and Lauren will play Sherlock. Lexie looks forward to the many different character's she gets to play throughout the show. They also talk about their work with Saltworks Theatre during the year, which includes performing 6 different plays at over 100 different schools. These plays touch on topics such as bullying, drug abuse, and much more.
