Resonance Works opens their 14th season this Sunday, September 27 with Gilda Lyons’ An Anchor in Time. Conductor/producer Maria Sensi Sellner and Associate Producer Rob Frankenberry spoke with Anna Singer live on the QED Afternoon Show about the show.
Originally commissioned for Resonance Works’ 10th anniversary season, An Anchor in Time looks at where we’ve been and where we’re going. The first half of the program features the Festival Chorus and soloists for choral time-capsule, from Monteverdi to Pittsburgh musical legend Robert Page. The Resonance Chamber Orchestra rounds out the program with Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring Suite in its original form for 13 musicians.
