The Pittsburgh Savoyards open their 2026-2027 season with Gilbert and Sullivan's Yeomen of the Guard! Production Manager Lynette Garland and Stage Director Robert Hockenberry speak with Jim Cunningham about the show.

Yeomen of the Guard is one of the few Gilbert and Sullivan operetta with a sad ending, set in the Tower of London during the 16th century. Lynette talks about the production, its crew, and the orchestra, in which she'll play the violin. Rob summarizes the plot and explains the working relationship between W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.
