This Sunday, September 20th marks the beginning of Academy Concerts' Opus: Impact season. Vocalist Sydney Kaczorowski, PSO cellist Adam Liu, and pianist Fabio Gentilli speak with Anna Singer about the program.
Mozart's Sonata for Piano and Violin in G major, K. 301 opens the concert, followed by Brahms's Sonata for Piano and Cello in F major, Op. 99 and Beethoven's Piano Trio in C minor Op. 1, No. 3. Adam talks about the intimacy of chamber music and performing with Fabio through the lens of friendship. Adam and Fabio will be joined by PSO violinist Irene Cheng. Sydney also gives a preview the other concerts in Opus: Impact's season.
Opus: Impact opens its season this Sunday, September 20th at 3:00pm at Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $20. More information is available on the Academy Concerts website.
