WQED-FM's Jim Cunningham sits down for an extensive interview with broadcast legend Bill Hillgrove. Mr. Hillgrove got his start in the broadcast industry by volunteering at WQED and working on programs like JazzBeat. He remembers his time at WQED fondly, meeting folks like Mister Rogers, Joe Negri, Jonny Costa and many more. He also looks back at his time as the Steeler play by play announcer; working with Myron Cope; his love of the University of Pittsburgh; and his love of all types of music, including opera.
