The 110th Annual Exhibition is going on now! Executive Director of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Madeline Gent, and artist Cory Bonnet, spoke about the on-going exhibition's artwork that is on display until January 12th, 2025 at the SPACE Gallery Downtown. Madeline highlights this years theme, and how artwork in the exhibition reflects on the interplay between art and sports, activity and movement, and rest and play. Cory talks about his pieces in the exhibition that include a giant oil painting of former Penguins player, Mario Lemieux, on a recycled piece of the Civic Arena Dome. He also talks about how his work intersects salvaged materials with painting, and about his studio space in the Lower Hill District. Madeline also highlights the Gallery Crawl downtown on October 25th that will feature the Art Olympics at the Giant Eagle Foundation Backyard.
